Our gateway interview telephone line for people who live or work in the London Borough of Sutton is open from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. We will discuss with you the most appropriate way we can help. We may offer you an appointment, a telephone call back by an adviser, send you information or suggest other organisations that may be more appropriate to help you with your enquiry.
If you qualify for legal aid and need advice on housing, welfare benefits or debt telephone us on 020 8405 3535. You should qualify for legal aid if you or your partner receive Income Support, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance or Guarantee Pension Credit. You may also qualify if you are on a low income.
In person
If you visit one of our branches, we will help you find information, leaflets and factsheets that may answer your question. If you need further assistance, an Information Assistant will help you to complete the online forms so that we can provide you with appropriate help. You can also make a free telephone call to our gateway interview line. If you need help in a language other than English, we can arrange a telephone interpreting service.
